Introducing two new print designs to Instyle’s Ecoustic® collection of intelligent acoustic panels. Created by the Instyle Design Studio, Axis + Opus confidently express vastness in scale and provide the opportunity for a space to incorporate pattern without overwhelming the interior.
The large-scale designs can be used as full panel artworks or featured as smaller abstract sections. The low VOC and Greentag Level A certified acoustic panels can absorb up to 100% of sound depending on the panel thickness and are ideal for walls and ceilings.
AXIS DESIGN INSPIRATION
Developed from a single line sketch, Axis alters the rules of geometry by changing 90 degree angles to create playful and unpredictable relationships from one shape to another. Reminiscent of architectural diagrams, straight lines echo man-made forms and tension through structure, while the resulting shapes cascade into each other to create an overall sense of rhythmic flow.
OPUS DESIGN INSPIRATION
In contrast Opus’ hand drawn organic shapes were inspired by biophilic design and our inherent urge to affiliate with natural forms. This unique design of loose, dynamic curves provides a sense of calm with its free flowing nature and balance of positive and negative space.
