Green Star + LEED
Green Star: PURETANN can contribute low VOC points to Green Star. PURETANN can be used on white furniture certified to Ecospecifier, AFRDI, ECNZ and GECA. The Green Star Rating Tool states “Where at least 90% of an item’s mass is certified to a GBCA recognised standard, the item can be entered as a certified product at Level A, B or C.” Therefore any leather can be used as leathers are almost always under 10% by weight of a furniture item
LEED: PURETANN can contribute low VOC points
WELL: PURETANN can contribute to low VOC / VOC Reduction
Additional Information
- Puretann uses only the finest European raw hides. They are tanned exclusively with extracts from pods of the Tara tree, grown in the temperate climate of the Peruvian Andes. The pods are cultivated in a way that does not damage the trees thus minimising any damage to the environment. No chromium or synthetic tanning agents are used, just pure vegetable extracts, giving an unbelievably soft, luxurious feel and appearance. As a Pure Aniline of the highest quality, Puretann® will exhibit all of nature's marks
- Colour variation is a significant natural occurrence, each leather hide is one of a kind and perfectly imperfect
