We were fortunate to visit St George Men’s Shed yesterday. Born out of Men’s Health Conference in the nineties, the concept was to recreate the atmosphere of a real life men’s shed, a safe space where men, mostly retired seniors, can socialise, make friends and share skills for the common good and for community projects.
The Shed provides men with a sense of belonging, comradeship and well being. Instyle has donated its leather remnants to St George Men’s Shed where Paul makes a variety of leather goods by hand.
