To celebrate the release of new colours in our classic textiles Feel and Calibre, Instyle collaborated with stylist Emma Elizabeth to create a campaign based on Mix magazine’s Beyond colour trend, one of the sources of inspiration for our inhouse design studio.
Responding to the overwhelming digital chatter in our lives that is rewiring our brains, the Beyond trend fosters a heightened awareness of our surroundings and finding beauty in the changing evolution of the environment.
In relying less on the virtual world and reconnecting with all our senses, the colour palette evokes a soft and ethereal quality, focusing on predominantly pale and pastel shades with an unexpected pop of energetic neon. Touch and interaction are also encouraged by embracing tactile natural materials such as Feel and Calibre.
11 rich and earthy colours have been added to Feel, a beautiful, wool and alpaca marle felt with a soft and luxurious touch, while Calibre, the stunning, locally-made wool-rich textile featuring flecks of coloured highlights and extremely high durability, has been extended with 16 soft ephemeral shades.
