Instyle and Colan Australia are delighted to announce the joint acquisition of Geelong Textiles Australia, Australia’s last surviving woollen furnishing textile mill and dye house.
This strategic partnership combines the expertise and unique strengths of two industry leaders to enhance the capabilities and ensure continuity of the rich heritage of Australia’s iconic mill and dye house.

Rebranded as LoomTex™, the textile manufacturer has been repositioned towards a stronger future and long legacy in Australia.
LoomTex™ will continue to create upholstery, apparel and technical fabrics for commercial and domestic use in Geelong, with plans for investments in technology, research and development will ensure it remains at the forefront of the industry.
LoomTex™ manufactures our heavy duty commercial upholstery fabrics including Native, Atlas, Tonic and Source from our sustainable LIFE Textiles collection as well as Think Plus.
